It looks expensive in the initial photo, Until you get into the details, then it isn't. And I like a more door.

Interesting, it would be easy enough to do the interior and maybe you could live with the paint.

Any idea of how expensive it would be to build an engine to that spec?

Good mechanicals, terrible interior but easily fixed and while there is rust, it depends on where and how deep the rust is.

Looks like a decent buy just for the drivetrain/brakes/suspension - the rest...?

I toyed with idea, back in the day, of painting one of my Mk1 Lotus Cortinas in this fashion, to make it look like a 'beater', sticking a '1200 badge on the back etc.

Potential is there.
