All Cortinas are a curse!

The seller has a medical issue/too many cars and while this is a decent example, the fact that it is a Mk2 will keep the price down - Mk2s just don't get the same 'love' that the Mk1s do.

Like I posted on BaT - for some reason,
people don't seem to keep the MKII wagons for
more than two years.Maybe because of the small
gas tank?
Mine had 5+ owners that I could find,in the
last 10 years.

Hello all, I bought Dougs wagon more than 2 years ago and have no intention of selling. This is my third Mk2 wagon and have loved them all. I actually prefer the Mk2 to the Mk1 and I have had nice examples of both. A two door Cortina wagon would have been interesting with longer doors but the rear doors are sometime useful.

I have a Mk2 wagon and building a warm little X Flow for it with a T9 backed up to it. I was looking at the 4 door profile just the other day and thought wouldn't this look cool with the rear doors removed and the longer 2 doors added and a long side window. Got me thinking as I have all the parts lying around.

The gas tank be swapped for a larger aftermarket one.

Changes owners ever other month. Looks like a roof rack, surf board and fire extinguisher have been added since the last sale. Sold for $8,800 last month.

I would not touch this car, there must be a hidden problem like impending rust, twisted body or some other such malady, I guess it only took the new owner a month to discover it??

It is back on BAT again and it is getting some deserved bad press.

Seems from the BaT commentary the car had a bad hit at some point in its life and has a poor repair / coverup job.

Guess the guy on here who was selling it a few months ago maybe didn't have health bills?

This thing is getting tossed around because no owner will disclose that it's been damaged.
