Dave,

Have you located one ? I assume you're clamping an additional one to the existing bar. I've added one to my 124E. It does make a difference.
Anyway, i have an extra if still looking. Can send to the border to help on shipping cost. Pete

Hi Pete.

Yes I want to double up the bar.

Do you know where to get the clamps? I've had no joy getting any out of the UK.

Cheers,
Dave.

Hi Dave,

Easy to make. (4) Aluminum blocks ( metal supply store will cut to size ). Drill two holes for s/bars. Two holes for bolt & nut clamping. Cut in half. Copy the one from Milton or i can give you basic dimensions off mine. Pete

Hi Pete.
Let me know what you want for the bar, and if you can give me the clamp dimensions, that would be a big help.

Cheers,
Dave.

If you can get the right sized aluminum block material you won't have to cut it in half. I did these ones up (can't remember the exact size of the aluminum) buy cutting the aluminum block/bar into 8 parts and bolting them together face to face to make four thick blocks, I mounted them firmly in a vice then drilled the ARB holes through them (between the two block parts).
I have not driven the car yet so I can't comment on how well it works?

That's another good option as Brett shows. The only concern would be the block is maybe too long can cause clearance problems over drive ways.

I've taken the dimensions off the Milton block. You can round off the square block if needed. Stab bar is 7/16" so drill a 3/8" hole. You would need to cut off the threaded ends of the bar.

The bar pictured is a bit rusty but no damage. I'm asking $45 plus shipping.

I was a bit worried about the clearance when I installed the additional bar, I may need to make another set of blocks but tighter together. I will find out when I get her on the road??

Thanks Pete.
I'll take the bar.
I'll send a PM with address etc. I think I still have your p/pal info.

Cheers,
Dave.

Dave, sent you a pm.

Brett, it may help to move the bottom of the blocks inward a bit for better clearance. They don't need to be mounted exactly vertical.

Pete

I may give that a try as the current setup certainly does reduce the clearance.
