Yes, the comments range from expert to idiotic at times.

Nice car though I don't go for these tribute colours and I just could never feel as comfortable with the Mk11 as I did with the Mk1 even though the Mk11 was arguably a better car.

I had a 67 Mk2 Lotus that I drove for 11 years and my close friend had a Mk1 so we would often compare the two. They were a close match performance wise, the Mk1 was obviously more of a classic but the Mk2 was more civilized to drive with it’s better heating/ventilation and turning circle amongst other things.

Don't you just kick the back end out to make a turn? Very Happy

Even the twin cam in these cars didn't have the thunderous torque to easily do those maneuvers unless the road was a bit damp or you had a locking diff, I had a modified 2 liter Pinto powered Mk2 once that could though but I blew the diff out of it at a slalom event.
