Here's a new toy I picked up, actually a 66 GT. Completely stripped and repainted. Quick question, I may be looking for some parts, rear light bezels is one, can anyone tell me if the door locks, strikers etc are the same as the MK2? Also I definitely need a workshop manual to try and reassemble the wiring etc.

Treasure to find these nowadays. Looks to have 5.5" rims.

Strikers plates are different between the MK1 and 2. I have spare s/plates and t/l ass'ys.
You'll find repair books on ebay.

MK1 s/plate on the right

Ok so far I'm missing the scuttle, that's what I believe it's called, and I've also found these bits, anyone any idea what they're off?. Also looking for all new window rubber and rubber trim round the doors, including the stuff that goes inside the door opening and covers the headlining. Thanks.

Anyone know if these Pearson workshop manuals are any good for rebuilding from scratch?

Triangular pieces are for the front part of the vent window frames.
There are quite a few sources in England and Australia for all the rubber pieces.
Do you mean the air vent grille ? I have one if that's the one.

Pete

Hi, no it's the piece between the hood and the windshield on the outside of the car. The bit that is missing in the picture where the washer jets would stick through, assuming it's the same as a mk2 that is. Thanks for the info on the other bits. I think I'll join the mk1 club in the U.K. They seem to have just about everything

That is what i meant it's called the air vent grille for the heater and fresh air. The MK1 and 2 vent grilles are not interchangeable.
