Still looking for a MK 1 parts car and / or parts. Drivers side strut complete. Sway bar. Anything Lotus Cortina , I have a very rough but genuine car with many parts missing. B.C. Lower Mainland preferred for a parts car but open minded.
Thanks! |

Trust me Langlia it's a horror. If it wasn't a Locort it would have been scrapped long ago. You can come by one day and see it , I am the person who bought the 3 GT wheels back on that cold day several months ago. Your Anglia is worlds better a project. |

Hi peteleo, I think we corresponded a few months back. The sway bar needed is just to get my parts shell back up on wheels. So standard Cortina, could even be bent {within reason} bad threads etc. Unfortunately between shipping and exchange you are probably too far away, and definitely in the wrong country. I need something cheap and near to local.
Locort parts I am willing to more or less spend the going rate, but just to move a shell around the yard cost has to be rock bottom.

I do recall, memory still functions quite decent.
Car is almost out of the paint booth, switched up my reducer formulas and now its laying out like glass. Rest of it gets painted tomorrow. |

Thanks but no. The steering linkage is still there. I need the drivers side strut complete with lower link and the sway bar. Brake stuff unimportant as it's just to make the shell able to roll around the yard.
I have managed to place a heavy duty 4 wheel cart under the shell and move it out of the way. But I would still like to have it properly up on wheels at some point. Once the rain comes back the cart will sink if I try to move it. |
