Distributor won't budge and I don't want to break the casting.
Any suggestions for nondestructive removal?

Only way if it's really stuck - and they often are - is to remove the head and drift it out from below, using a socket just a bit smaller than the outside diameter of the drive dog.
Brutal, but there's no other real way without risking damage to the distributor body. |

Thanks, as suggested it required removal of the head.
