1963 MK1 GT...

Hmm, dreaming in Technicolor and Cinemascope at the same time.

Did they actually make the MK1 GT - IN THE UK - in a 4 door version?

Did the early ones come with that dash?

Doesn't really matter because no one will ever buy it at that price.

Early version of a MK1 GT pre-airflow model. 4D were mostly made for the home market and didn't have the side s/s triming. Mine is a '66 GT 4D
airflow that was special ordered in California and delivered to the original owner while on vacation in London.

The stainless trims in the UK were reserved for the Super.

So after a little research, it appears that this is genuine enough - still not worth the asking though.

Very early GT Cortinas did have that dash with the tach on the column. Pretty rare but 75k rare? Nope. Nice car but the asking price is pie in the sky. Unless someone actually pays that for it!!

Now as my 105E is actually original and probably the earliest one still on the road if someone could give me say 100k it could be their car. Anyone? Anyone?
