Hello EnFo Group,
I just joined and posted a want ad to this forum and thought I would take a momet and say Hello.
I live in the midwest near St Louis.
I have been looking for a Cortina MK2 GT for a few years.
I have found them now and then but timming is everything and that has been a bit of a problem.
My internet name is Pintony and some here may know me.
I was at the Queens English show in the park for 2010 and saw one Mk2 and I saw it again at the Knottsberry Farm show.
I am terrible with names but the man that own this Cortina remembers me. when we meet.
Also If anyone knows how to get hold of Paul Boliens I think from Washington state I need to pay him for some 1600cc parts he sent me.
and I have not forgotten how much help paul was.
I feel terrible when I owe anyone money.
I sure would like to meet Paul and shake his hand.
Anyway, Does anyone know when the Queens english show is this year?
I am a Ford Pinto guy and a few.
I will try to include a photo of some of them.
From Pintony

What a good job you've done keeping this line alive. Were these cars products of England also? They look a lot like the mini Mustangs that were produced around 1980. Keep the spriit alive. _________________ Over the Rainbow you will find an Anglia! |

Hello DonG,
I am un-aware of any european Pintos.
The common items that the US, Pinto and the english Fords
are the X-FLOW 1600cc and the Pinto 2.0L engines.
I am building an 711M 1600cc Turbo that runs on E85 fuel.
If I find a MK2 before the Pinto body is ready I will install it in the Cortina.
I only collect the first 3 years of Pinto. In 1975 The Cologne 2.8L V6 was avalible in the Pinto. I never had the V6 in a Pinto but had a Capri W/V6 back in the day.

Hi Pintony,
Nice looking Pinto line up there. If I had enough room I would ad a thin bumper Pinto to my collection. I know Paul B, though I have not heard from in a while. I'll see what I can find.

Nice project you have there. I think that the guy you owe money to is probably Paul Blouin. Michael may have contact info for him. I am sure he is a member of this list. _________________ the older i get,the faster i went... |
