Harrie,
Welcome! What Fords do you own?
You might want to add them to your posts.

Harrie,
Welcome! Nice to hear a fellow countryman. What part of Nederlands are you from?
My family immigrated from Amsterdam in 1956 when I was 5. Our first EnFo was a '61 Anglia that my parents purchased in Santa Barbara, California in 1965. We bought another '61Anglia in 1970 which I used to go to college with. Since then the fever progressed with purchasing more Anglias, Cortinas and eventually a Zephyr. Check out my blog for a few pictures. http:\\englishfordparts.blogspot.com

Harrie,
You have one of the largest collection of European Fords that i know of.
That would take a large area of space to keep them all. Maybe 1/8 the size of Holland.
I remember these cars in the 60's-70's when we fly back to visit family. The Taunus was very popular during that time. Most of my family members had a NSU or Taunus and an Uncle that drove an early model Cortina.

Hum , it doesnot take 1/8 of our country but it feels like paying that much to keep them ..
The Taunus got more popular as the Cortina , in the 70's people changed to Germann stuff as Uk products started to get a bad reputation .
It was the Austin Alegro's and cars like that who where to blame for that as Ford 70's cars where the same quality no matter if they came from UK , Netherlands , Belgium or Germany .
I noticed i forgot to mention about 5 other cars ...... and there are a few other makes .... _________________ Home of the European Ford |

Welcome Harrie,
I've been away from the forum, but glad to see that you have joined since my last check in. Regarding English vs German Fords, I happened to know that quite a few of both were built in Holland up until the early 1980s.
Cheers,
