I live in Ontario Canada and I have a love for old fords.
I own a 1976 ford escort and it has been a long term project.
I also own a 1966 lotus cortina which I bought of the original owner it
is in pretty rough shape but totally complete( I might get to it one day)
I have a shed full of mk1 cortina GT parts.
Glad to be here to |

Sounds like some interesting cars there, you should post some pics some time. That Lotus will certainly be worth doing up considering their value these days, I had an early Mk2 Locort that I now regret selling but that's hindsight. _________________ Anglia 100e modified

The Tina looks like she's seen some action! Good luck with the rebuild.

thanks guys, if I can find a really nice mk1 two door shell I might tackle it,
I was looking in the trunk and as well as a selection of ciebie driving lights I found quite a few original Ford service manuals for the lotus cortina, turns out it was one of the last mk1 lotus cortinas sold in Canada, also it has a spare lotus head and water pump housing, cam, carbs etc,, a really cool finds |
