has any one still got these strips on their steering wheels as they were banned over here because of a safety issue over here also your rear indicator lenses r red ours r orange |

We had a few 60 and 61 Anglias that had the decorative strips on gray steering wheels. My son's '62 Anglia wagon has the plan grey s/wheel. All Anglias that I've seen here came with plan black after '62.
I believe the decorative strips were banned after '61, at least in California,
after '61 because of the reflective annoyance to the driver.

I have them on my 59 105E, they were only fitted with the strips for a fairly short time. I believe one of the reasons was as stated for reflection and I have heard that Ford also decided to cut a few pennies by deleting them from production.
