Hi Pete, at this point I am looking for some front susp. parts and a rear axle/ leaf spring set up to turn my doner shell in to a roller. I notice you are in Cal. I am hoping to find something local as shipping, the border and the Canadian $ all work against me. Locort specific stuff is the exception, I will bite the bullet and pay as necessary to fill in the blanks.
I would also consider a WA./ Ore. parts car as long as it had a title . I don't think anyone can get a car out of the U.S. these days without one.

Greg,

I can help with some of the susp parts. i.e ball joints, transverse and stabilizer bar, and top mounts. I have most of the interior parts for the MK1 GT air flow.

I have 4 Rostyles (no tires) which look good on a GT, may have some other bits and pieces.

This is what they look like on the car.

Hi Sideways, thanks but I just picked up 3 of these wheels from Langlia. I will look around for a 4th , but I don't really need a second set. Cosmic's , A few more Revolution's or LoCort steels yes.

All the best Greg

Greg,

I have a bunch of stuff. See attached pictures and let me know if there is anything you can use. The two rear light rings in the lower right f the one photo are gone.

I also have starters and generators.

Anglia and Mk1 Cortina are different, the Cortina has the ball joint built into the steering arms. The Anglia has the ball joint built into the track arm like a Mk2 Cortina and a 100e.

Mk1

The 105e arm compared to Cortina Mk2 and 100e. I had the ball stud removed from the (top) 105e track arm at the time I took the photo. The Mk2 is in the center and the longest 100e on the bottom.
A good swap is to put Mk1 Cortina struts and arms into a 105e.

Oh yes the 100e track arm on the bottom has a short 105e ball stud installed in it to mate to my Mk2 struts.

I never tried it that way around, I guess it would work for that purpose but you might have to use the Cortina top mount and definitely the 105e arm.

If nothing else I am beginning to get the picture of the different types of struts and lower arms. Ford sure liked to change things. Looks like each model used the same general theme but enough differences for little direct interchange. And I am sure Capri's and Escort's are different yet again . Thanks for all the photo's and information !
