|1957 English Ford Popular, looks exactly like a 1948 Ford Anglia - $11750
Really neat old English Ford right hand drive car, I stress RIGHT HAND DRIVE. A little different to deal with but the looks are well worth it. Completely stock and original.
Runs and drives great or at least how they drove back in 1957!
If your wanting to build a 1948 Anglia this is the next best thing. 1948 is usually the "cut off year" for most street rod shows. It even has the clam shell vents like the 1948. Build it, call it a 1948 and nobody can tell the difference.
Remember this car is 60 years old so it does have some rust. It's mostly on the underneath of the rear fenders and under one of the front inner fenders. On the outside you can't see any evidence of the rust and it is contained underneath. The rear fenders have an extra metal strip and I think that is where the rust is. I try to be completely honest on the description but I don't want to make this car sound bad, it's a great car. It's had the fender welts removed and filled in, they did a great job.
Lights work, brakes work, brake lights work, engine starts and runs great, tires are almost new ($1,000), upholstery is really nice, paint is really good with a few bubbles (not from rust ), titled, registered, insured and driven to and from car shows. It took 2nd place at an "all British" car show recently.
The only reason for selling this car is we have our eye on another "English Ford" and could use the money for that car. If it doesn't sell we will keep it and enjoy it.
