I don't know what to make of this? It is a car local to me here in British Columbia but I can't seem to find it on my local Ebay???
I did stumble across it on the U.K. Ebay so could it be a scam aimed at the Brits? I am not implying that but here it is and you can decide.

Not the first time this has been up for sale, similar description with the usual 'picked out of the air' hp figure and other vague claims.

I believe it was on BaT a while back though I could not find it - as well as on Craigs.

Given the way these cars are selling in North America, why try to sell in the UK - yes I am well aware of the prices they demand in the UK but an LHD etc?

Its probably a couple of years since I saw this up for sale, same owner if the plate is to be believed.

Something seems a little fishy about the whole thing or maybe I am just being too cautious? Why not broaden your market and advertise it locally unless maybe the car isn't really there??

The 'message' is a bit muddled.

I went via eBay and said I was local and when can I see the car - which could make for an easy and quick sale.

I'll keep you posted on the response, if any.

Speaking of reposting/reselling - this one, again on eBay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Ford-Other-Cortina-Hot-Rod-Wagon-/162492162031?hash=item25d5499fef:g:xqIAAOSw32lYxunY&vxp=mtr criticised for non disclosure of damage done http://bringatrailer.com/2017/03/19/3025-speed-swapped-lhd-1969-ford-cortina-estate/

Why can't people just tell the truth?

Bang on, those links were interesting to read. My own feeling is that the bullshit car flipping thing is the Cancer of the classic car scene.

Same. Feels like us weird enfo owners lose good cars (not this one) to flippers, and they rarely get purchased by enthusiasts.

If you can't sell it locally, sell it nationally - never a bad idea (assuming the car/owner actually exists, he/she has not responded to requests to see the car).

Be aware.
