I remember those days because my Father was a huge fan of that stuff and it inspired him to buy a Cortina, there were many magazine articles around our house covering the Cortina success stories. My Father ended up buying a 66 red GT and I recall going with him to pick it up, we drove straight from the dealer to a tire shop to remove the Firestones and put on Pirelli Cinturato tires. _________________ Anglia 100e modified

In the 70's our family of 6 had 5 Cortina GTs and me an 124E in Half Moon Bay, California. My father never considered buying one new in '66 instead bought a new Mercury Comet 6 sw. |
