Lotus 7/ Ford 1500 GT Cortina Engine - $1 (oakland rockridge / claremont)

Hard to find this is the last generation and the best version of the 63-67 Ford Cortina 1498cc GT engine. Made for about only 6 months in 67 this is a complete 2731E six bolt lip seal crank version of the 1500 GT engine. For Lotus 7 owners and racers it's the preferred 1500 GT engine over the earlier rope seal oil leak prone and weaker 63-66 120E version of the 1500 engine. IT"S SOLD!....but I do have another one available.

Also have the MK 2 Cortina 1500 GT gearbox. If you're building a Lotus Seven replica kit car I have the complete 67 GT car that this engine is in with black & yellow # plates and a clear pink title that would make a proper donor parts source for your Lotus 7 kit car project.
