Re: Rotary Anglia for sale.

Yes it's tempting and my Wife has given me permission to take the two Ferries to go see it. In reality though, I don't know what I would do with another Anglia and where do you put it? Terrible decision! Buy my Lotus instead so I can buy that Anglia :D My Wife would not go for a Lotus for sure, I t...

Re: Brett's 100e Anglia

This not necessarily for my modified Anglia but rather a using up parts exercise. So we are all being Covid careful these days and it is affording me a lot more time to play in the garage. I have been looking at some of the spare bits and pieces around here and decided to thin out the junk. I have a...

Re: 1968 Lotus Cortina on BAT

These MKII's with the "High Top" dash,& rear trailing arms were built from 9/66 to 12/67,according to the factory parts manual. MKII's also came with a 1500 engine - 9/66 to 8/67. Those were the good 1500s with the stouter block, six bolt crank and later seals. The Lotus boys like them.

Re: 1968 Lotus Cortina on BAT

Never a fan of the Mk11 regardless of the model (yes, I know they are good cars!) and they just never had the same appeal as the Mk1's - this one looks fine but that is the most pitiful video I have seen in a long time. I posted on BaT, saying so but BaT has a habit of eating posts so my labours we...

1968 Lotus Cortina on BAT

To me it looks like a 1967? My 67 LoCort had the same high dash layout. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-lotus-cortina-mk-ii-2/?utm_source=dm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2020-11-21 https://i82.servimg.com/u/f82/17/10/84/53/1968_l10.jpg https://i82.servimg.com/u/f82/17/10/84/53/1968_l11.jpg h...

Re: Radiator Hoses

It is tempting and there are some there that I could use, those New Prefect top hoses would be nice but those do look like old school type hoses and I bet they are as hard as rock? I had to go to an auto parts store and go through their hose catalogue until I found one that I could cut/fit. It is no...

It would take a bit of work to make it a street car again but it is interesting.

Sounds good, would be glad to assist, just let me know.
Thank you, I will have a closer look at all the bits, could be some bushings needed too. I will be in touch.
