Every thing about this swap says factory all over it, but much better.

Great car, I love it.

DLH,

Welcome to EnFoStuff. It looks like a sweet conversion. I note your Washington plates, where are you? Hopefully you can bring this car to a Northwest Euro-Ford meet this year!

Thanks very much. :D
I had a lot of help from the folks at www.xrtwo.com and Ebay in the UK. I had also had done the 1.9L cvh conversion previously. This conversion is actually easier to do.
I have tried to come to the Ford Fair the last three years in a row but something always comes up at the last minute. I should make it this year.

If any one is interested in the conversion,PM me. I have a lot of photos of the project.
FIY it is a Zetec out of a 2002 Focus :D

That fits nicely, must be a hoot to drive. You're right, you have read too many issues of Classic Ford! Just remembered, I've got a new fender for a Mk1 Fiesta, I saved it from going for scrap along with a fender for a Mk2 Fiesta and a complete 116E 1500GT motor. I guess I like hoarding parts.

A Ford ESC unit I imported from the UK. It is an standalone ignition only ECU similar to EDIS. Runs off crank angle, manifold pressure, and engine temp. Cheap and easy to come by in the UK

You can buy new ones here in the US, they were used on 1.3 and 1.6L Kent
industrial engines... One application would be a MY2000 Tennant ES8200
floor scrubber/sweeper...
