I'll be in Seattle that weekend. Hopefully I'll make the next meet in Clovis.

Once again only a handful of EnFo's at the show. 3 Anglia's so they had a class of their own and my Cortina which was placed in the British Specialty Closed Class along with Landrover's, Vauxhall, Rovers, Metropolitan, and a Lola with a Chevy motor which won class. I placed second.

Actually, three Anglias is pretty impressive. Were they all owned by the same person?

Nice going, Brent. I think your Cortina will always place regardless of how many cars are in your assigned category.
I just got back from moving my daughter to Seattle last weekend including 3 days total of driving to Seattle and back to the Bay Area.
I will be going to see her at the end of July just in time for the British Car meet near Seattle on July 23 :http://abfm.com/
I'm considering on driving my Anglia there. We'll see. I'm hoping Michael will be there. Olympia is not too far from the meet. Pete S

Pete,

Oh no, I'm booked that weekend, otherwise I might want to ride along. We'll have to connect on one of your visit up here.

Two of the Anglias were owned by the same person and the other I think may have been a girlfriend or friend.

They were all related somehow.
I followed them out of the fairgrounds,& down I80,
until I turned off to go North.
Looked pretty cool - three Anglias in a row.

Michael,

I'll be going there around summer again so we'll eventually meet.

BTW. Last big Anglia gathering was in the 80's when we meet with Russ Russel, Gary Pomeroy, Brian Holmes, my brother and myself at Russ' pizza parlor in Santa Clara, Ca. Can you believe. Five running Anglias !!!

If it makes you feel any better,I have it on authority
that the Lola is a replica (a VERY NICE replica!).
I was surprised to hear that.

Doug. 2nd place to the Lola doesn't worry me, I am in it for the enjoyment of driving the car to the show, talking to people about the car, looking at all the cool cars being shown, then the drive home with all the thumbs up and smiles along the way.
