I have a Lucas 25D distributor, # 40854B, on my Lotus twin cam motor. The block is a 711M. I am not sure of the condition of the distributor and was wondering if anyone knew if the one on my 1970 MK2 Cortina GT would fit. Obviously the twin cam one is the side entry cap, maybe they are interchangeable? I am not sure what spec the twin cam is at, as mentioned on previous posts, however I have verified that the cam lifts is .36, which may suggest the 'big valve' set up? Any input would be greatly received.

but came in various stages of advance curve specs.
