Re: Post up your current car status!
Hi Brent,
Nice collection. Looks like you've added a couple of cars since last year or so. Mk2 LC and maybe the 72 Capri 2.6. Still have the Anglia, Cortina, and Zephyr. We joined the IBCC,
Idaho British Car Club. They have > 200 members owning mostly BMC with a few Morgans, Lotus, etc., four EnFos ...

Re: Cortina MK1 & MK2 automatic transmission bracket
So the only reply I got is from Graeme White of EnFord Spares New Zealand.
For those who maybe interested or has an EnFo with a T35 transmission:
Hi Pete
Thanks for your email.

Re: Cortina MK1 & MK2 automatic transmission bracket
Hi Michael,
Its rather an engineering question and curious why Ford decided to install a brace on the automatic transmission and not on a manual. There is no mention of this in any book nor information in any EnFo manual that I have nor internet.
Not a deal, life will still go on.

Cortina MK1 & MK2 automatic transmission bracket
Would anyone know why p/n: 118E-6K040A bracket is necessary for a T35 transmission.
Bracket attaches from the bell housing to the engine underneath the generator bracket.
Can't imagine that it prevented transmission torque. Apparently changed to DORY-6K040A maybe for the Pinto 1600 ?

Hi Mark,
PM sent. There are two lengths of nuts depending on cap manufacturer.
I would use the longer nuts to be save.

Hi Mark,
PM sent. I included my email so I can send photos.
Yes, there are two lengths of ignition wire tie-down nuts depending on cap manufacturer.

100E was 6 volt +grd. After '57 12 volt still +grd. It seems it has electrical issues. Voltage Regulator is a 12 volt RB340. Generator/ starter 6v or 12v ?

Re: CL-Low Mileage 1968 Ford Cortina GT - $26,000 (SC)
Fair price considering the cost of restoring a high mileage plus 60 year old car.
This will require a fluid flush, tires, some buffing to make it near new again.
Anyone with spare cash, and is looking for one, is the way to go.
