Seller said, " Original shell was replaced due to damage in '91".
Can it be, Brett, VIN tag came off your damaged '67 LC and re-bodied using a '69 Cortina GT.

Re: Vintage EnFo sign question
Hello,
A sign similar displayed at S&C Ford parts department in the 1960's to
late 1970's. I remember Frank at the EnFo counter. He retired around
1977.
Are you willing to sell these signs. I would be interested in buying one.

Re: strut insert installation
Ford of England admitted in one of the EnFo books that it was an engineering
mistake to install the bleeder on the bottom. On later cars it was
corrected.
Best way to bleed this type of system is to adjust the shoes tight against
the drum then bleed.

Re: CL-1966 Ford Anglia Super - $10,000 (CA)
I can vouch for John that it is a great car, I've worked on this car for couple of
years. Also, the clutch and starter motor is new and steering box has been rebuilt
I believe asking price is more than reasonable. He's selling for health reasons.

Re: strut insert installation
Sealed inserts won't require shock oil. If you have inserts without the outer casing then add 50cc 20w shock oil into the strut tube. Once the insert is in the strut tube screw down the gland nut ( make sure the threads are clean and undamaged ) Gland nut should be near flush with the strut tube aft...

Re: Mk2 Cortina Lower Control Arm ball joint rebuild
Hi Carl,
Years ago a suspension shop in San Jose inserted a universal ball joint
Within the cavity of the MK2 t/c arm. I don't know of anybody
doing that anymore.
Graeme of EnFord spares sells t/c arms 3034E-3078-TW @
$NZ136.00 ea which is very reasonable.

Re: Old scrapbook photos of mki & mkii meets and shows
I believe all Zephyr/ Zodiac MK2 grilles are interchangeable. For the Zephyr 2/56/57/10 206E-8153 Grille has the round Parking lights. While the low line 206E-8153B has oval types attached . According to the parts book . Images of high lines with later grilles are common and Zephyrs with Zodiac gril...

Aaron,
Early high lines MK2 have the crate type grilles until around '58. Low line models from around '59 have the common grilles you see most .

Very nice, Brent. I remember you were on the look out for a MK 1 Escort since last year. Any plans on taking to one of the British car shows. Would love to see it.
