Cortina MkII rear shocks

Does anyone know the part number for Koni rear shocks for a 68 Cortina GT? Are these the same as used by the Lotus Cortina? I see Koni shocks on eBay for the MkII Lotus, but never ones listed for the GT.
Thanks,

windlace

Thanks Pete,
Metro Molded Parts has a windlace that will work, I was hoping to find the stuff with a real fabric cover. Metro's windlace has a "fabric texture surface" moulded into the vinyl.
Terry.
Ps. Metro is a great source for some very hard to find parts!

Cortina Windlace

Does anyone know of a source for the fabric covered windlace at the perimeter of the door openings on a 68 Cortina?

Thanks for the input. I had not heard the trick with the capri strut top. Which series capri?

Cortina Mk2 GT lowered suspension

Group,
I'd like to lower my '68 Cortina GT about an 1 1/2" to improve handling. I'm assuming the only way to do it is by cutting a coil from the front springs and adding lowering blocks at the rear. An other successful options?
Thanks,

tach speed

Thanks guys for your responses. I'm pretty sure it is the original negative ground tach, so I'll try the adjustment technique suggested.
Thanks again,
mortarch

ps. The dividing by two works until about 3500rpm. Just makes me really nervous to see the tach reading 7000rpm on a stock crossflow! :-)

Cortina GT tach

Group,
The tach in my '68 Cortina GT indicates twice the actual engine speed. Thoughts? Solutions?
Thanks,

cortina carpets

Called Acme today; unfortunately they no longer make or sell carpets, they are now only headliner manufacturers. I've noticed that Kip Motors list carpets for the MkII. I'll do a little research on their product and post my findings.
Thanks,

cortina carpets

I'm looking for a carpet set for my 1968 Cortina GT 2dr (LHD). Does anyone have a source for these in the US or has anyone had a good experience from a supplier outside the US?
Thanks,
