Sad to say I won't be there, my car isn't ready and I have some more pressing matters to attend to. However, my dad is entering my old Jaguar into the show. I feel it should stand out, dark blue 1989 XJ6 on 17 inch chrome XK8 wheels and a very slight lower. My boss gave me the car for free with a de...

I don't think there are any restrictions, other than it has to be parked on the grounds with the parking brake on untill at least 4:30 pm So I guess your parking brake has to at least look like it works. The Mk3 needs both windscreen seals and all 4 door seals before it leaves the covered area it's ...

I was hoping to have been there with my Mk3 Cortina but ran out of time. I hope to have it there next year (I've said that a few times now)
My grandfather was there in his Green on Green 1965 Jaguar Mk2 and my father was with him, if anyone happened to wander through the Jag section

So I know its been awhile, a lot has been done to the car since my last post (Well, not really) But it was sent off to paint as of October the 31st, and the only thing Ive heard since is that it was done but not quite ready to go outside as of November 6th. This is the last time I saw it http://i108...

Well, not too long ago now I went down to see Michael and grab some parts from his silver 2 door. Had the car been more solid I would have found a way to bring it home with me. But it still helped me with alot of good parts, thank you again Michael :) http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j388/zecorti...

Thanks again for the parts Michael. Im in the midst of finding a new place to keep them. Most of them I managed to get into the house, much to my mother's annoyance. You wouldnt happen to still have the key to the trunklock would you? I seem to have misplaced my cars original

Regarding 13" tires. I work at a tire shop, and the 185/80 13s are only trailer tires. But you can get car tires in a 175/70 13. Bit of a lower profile. There isnt any selection though. We only get the Goodrides in that size and all have the same speed and load rating. Instinctively Ive started...

I was going through a box my great grandpa left me, and I found a few old english dinky cars. One of them happened to be a Ford Zodiac convertible, made by Lesney. Its supposed to look like this: http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j388/zecortinachild/h_LV2IS9DLKDdygrneYRmw_zps676c83c8.jpg Heres min...

Its been awhile since I last updated. Mt goal for the car is to have it painted by the end of april, because my Ranger is too much of a pig on gas to keep on the road. The engine needs a headgasket, and at the same time Im gonna do the valve seals. I got some of the kind with the metal base that sit...

It could be storage, My dad did a Mk2 Jag for someone, after it was freshly painted it went in a shipping container for storage and bubbles came up after only a few months. Same could happen if you keep it under a car cover. It always unfortunate when original paint has to go, but IMO its worth it t...

What 16in wheels are you running?

Steve
They are 16x6.5J rims, from a 200(2?) Mercury cougar. I also grabbed the rear disc brake setup cause the discs slide over the rear hubs
