Re: tariffs

It makes sense to keep the volatile topic of politics out of the discussion, it's the Elephant in the room and hard to ignore when you realize that the whole issue is caused by bad politics.

He'll be lucky to get half of that asking price. Unfortunately. It's beautifully done. (I need that choke knob, but not worth me buying the entire car.) What type are you looking for, I have a few spares here that are not perfect but good enough to use in a daily driver. https://i82.servimg.com/u/f...

That car is very nice but that's a lot of money to ask for a 100e?

Re: Where are all the Classic Fords Hiding?

Thank you Ray for the offer but I don't yet know what our plans will be the winter, or even if we will do a winter trip? I will be sure to let you know if we are coming down your way. We are currently in Beddgelert, Wales and the house we are renting is right next to a steam train line. I know that ...

Where are all the Classic Fords Hiding?

I have been touring around the U.K. for over a month now and I keep my eyes open and camera ready for all the classic vehicles you might expect to find here. I did find some nice Escorts in the Beaulieu Auto Museum but that's to be expected, I am looking for the classics that are actually being used...

Re: CL - Ford Cortina. Mk1 - $19,900 (CA)

I honestly think that he doesn't want to sell that car! His sales tactic defies logic, it has been for sale for a number of years now and the price just keeps going up and up, having said that though, it was once listed at 25 and a half grand. To be fair, the car does present well but it is a 4 door...

Re: Mk2 Lotus Cortina on BAT

The Body is a 1969. The interior dash, center consol, and passenger seats are 69/70 as well. Yes, it is definitely a newer car, mine was a series 1a Mk2 that started life as a red car but had been painted orange by the time I bought it in 1973, mine also had the high dash and all black interior wit...

Re: 1600E for sale

The guy must be out of his mind, it is the same car and same pictures as the BAT auction that closed about 3 months ago, the car sold for $8200.00. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-ford-cortina-3/ I suspect that the car has some hidden issues for the owner to be dumping it just after 3 months ...

Re: Mk2 Lotus Cortina on BAT

Seller said, " Original shell was replaced due to damage in '91". Can it be, Brett, VIN tag came off your damaged '67 LC and re-bodied using a '69 Cortina GT. The more I learn about it, the more I think that is the case, there is no doubt that that VIN tag is from my car. I never actually...
