Re: 1958 Zephyr?

I and my wife went up there on an enjoyable hike, I think that trail was likely wide enough to get a small car down at one time so someone probably just drove it in to abandon it and use it as target practice? We plan on going back to another trail a few Kilometers away that has a number of old cars...

Re: 1958 Zephyr?

Well if you do its held in by 2 screws through the dash and 2 bolts into the firewall I think 1/2" from memory. There would be a fair bit of beer money in it to. Anyway keep safe over there cheers Simon Well I finally did it with the beautiful weather we are currently having, we hiked back up into ...

Re: 1962 FORD CONSUL CAPRI - $23,000 (N. DENVER)

Yes, the column shift would be strange but the floor shift is tolerable, at first I find I sometimes shift from 1st to 4th but you quickly get used to it. I find the vision can sometimes be an issue in traffic making left hand turns, it is hard to see oncoming vehicles with a big SUV in front.

Re: 1962 FORD CONSUL CAPRI - $23,000 (N. DENVER)

I like it but RHD is a bit of a turnoff for me and there are a lot of other nice cars you can get for $15000.

Hi there with the wrecked Consul is it a L/L or H/L?
I took that photo about 15 years ago, it is one of the abandoned wrecks that were in the woods near me. I don't know if it is a high or low or even if it is still up there in the forest??

Re: 1967 Ford Cortina Estate BAT

Here we are, BAT censorship at work, just because he was asked why he is selling it? The comment was removed in spite of having a number of likes.

Re: 1967 Ford Cortina Estate BAT

I didn't know that about BAT, are posts censored at the request of the seller? I seriously do not know, there is a "flag" where commenters can have comments deleted, appears to be an automatic function and appears to be relatively few flags needed for that. Do BaT censor as well? We may never know ...

I noticed the seller got huffy when asked why he was selling it after 3 months.
I hate to say it,but I hope he gets burned on the deal.
Yes, I saw that too, he should just be up front on why he wants to unload it, the way he said makes you think he is hiding something??

Re: 1967 Ford Cortina Estate BAT

I guess that could be, maybe my memory is fading but I could swear that this car or one like seems to be for sale often. The seller is a bit defensive to my suggestion saying this in his statement, "2 owners ago" and that alone suggests that it has been changing hands. carma (The Seller) This author...

1967 Ford Cortina Estate BAT

Here it is again, I swear that there must be something wrong with this car as nobody wants to keep it, maybe it will go for a more sensible price this time? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967- ... 2021-03-24
