100E Fords
Just for the record, Les Foster forwarded and inquiry to me from a man that just bought a 1960 Escort. He is located in Oregon and apparently the car was once in a museum. I recommended that he join this group. Hopefully he will.

Re: All About Me (Michael)
Overwhelmed only to the extent that I'm not doing anything with them and they are slowly deteriorating and that makes me feel bad.
Your 100E fleet looks impressive.
BTW, I am headed to Europe and am going to be able to tour the Cologne plant and their Heritage Vehicle collection as well. I'll ...

Pete, I think you are the expert on such questions. I hope that your project works out.

Thanks for posting that info Mark. I'm sorry that your order didn't get through in time. An utterly ridiculous situation indeed!

2025 Portland ABFM and SOVREN Historic Races Photos
This weekend my wife and I drove to Crater Lake in southern Oregon, and we stopped in briefly for a walk around at the ABFM and SOVREN Historics at the Portland International Raceway. Between the pits and the show field, I saw no less than nine Cortinas and Lotus Cortinas! Also, a beautiful 1937 ...

Re: Vintage EnFo sign question
Interesting sign, and I can't say that I've ever seen one before. The design is very similar to the Genuine Ford Parts sign used in the US in the 1950s.

Re: Olympus Rally, 2017
Here are some photos from this year's event (2024).
My unscientific observation is that Ford was the second best represented make there (after Subaru, which had a factory sponsored car).
There as a Mk I and Mk II Escort, a 1990s America Escort GT, A Mustang, three Focuses and maybe have a dozen ...

Re: North American Taunus Registry
Hello All,
Recently I was contacted by a man in Okanogan, Washington who wants to sell his late father's 1950 Taunus. Apparently, his father imported it from Germany in 1962 and there are a lot of family memories associated with it.

Re: Bob Winklemann - Another Great One Gone
I have a fond memory of meeting Bob at the Portland ABFM quite a few years ago. It was the year that he turned 80 and he made a comment to me, to the effect that whatever years he had left was "pure gravy".
