excellent, thanks for the input. the leaf spring place (Denver Spring) was awesome and made new ubolts for me, and gave me new small (rear) bushings. My centre bolt head clearance is very short, I had to put a shim in because they had 4mm height on the new bolt and my axle pad only allowed 3mm (5/16...

longer leaf spring ubolt

I'm adding a leaf to my rear springs because the rear is heavier.
These are 2" wide springs on a '65 Cortina 2 door
It looks like I'll probably need slightly longer ubolts, anyone know if this is true or where to get them in the USA?

The conversion is done (or 95% done anyway) and it cost around $12k for the EV specific parts not counting the Cortina chassis. this cost is before Tax credits which differ from state to state.
