Photos aside and assuming the seller(?) went with a Zetec/Duratec you would be looking at 170- 200 hp, depending on the state of tune - which would help get this car moving along niely.

But then again, without photos...its hard to say :D

I'll keep trying.

Yes, I was a bit keen to see how the car presented itself and when I read this in his ad I wondered why maybe just one picture could not be placed in it.  " I have 100s of photos of the car and during the build." Me too, so I emailed him and he promised me lots of photos... ...definitely there by ...

Ho x 3

Merry Christmas to all here... This is my typical Christmas. As the day creeps even closer...what I treasure most about the actual day - Christmas Day - is that when I enter a store, any store, every store, I will no longer be aurally assaulted by woeful interpretations of generally woeful songs aka...

Nice car. Comment section is a bit rough which is why I haven't commented in years. I had to go back and read some of the comments, you're right. I am a frequent commenter on BaT, have commented on this car and usually confine myself to Mk1 Cortinas and am guilty of making "rough" comments but usua...

https://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/salvaged.html I would get guaranteed, carved in stone, notarised and signed in blood confirmation from the above before proceeding. This one has been up for sale a few times, registration MAY have been why it hasn't sold yet, that aside, would be nice to 's...

New Toy - Mk1 Cortina Wagon - drivetrain options?

Photos to follow... I will be picking up that sad pile from Mark C at the end of this month - the Mk1 Cortina Wagon which fell off the trailer and hurt itself and which Mark then cut and welded until it resembled a wagon once more. Needs a total going over, body will need to be scrubbed and rubbed p...

I saw the estate several years ago, before it was for sale. It looked pretty good at that time. It should be reasonably easy to get roadworthy. I have put my self back a few years on projects. A Lola sports racer became available at a almost affordable price. I have wanted one for many years but th...

They both look like good projects. Curious where you got the $3500.00 figure from. That's a huge drop from his current asking price. No more projects for me, neck deep already and an imminent spousal meltdown. The most expensive project you will ever buy is the one that triggers a divorce. Greg I w...
