He has now changed the ad to read Deluxe, not GT. Must have heard from someone and gotten a clue.
Gary
I sent him a quick email to "update" his info...said he doesn't really know much about "these" cars. :D

Anyone have one laying around for an English axle? Good condition?

Yeah but its made the page unreadable. On this 1 page alone there was 4 adds, after every second comment. Screws up the flow of the comments.
I saw the same thing - and simply scrolled past the ads.

Or to put it better, I "flowed" past the ads.

Ho x 3

Merry Christmas to all here... This is my typical Christmas. As the day creeps even closer...what I treasure most about the actual day - Christmas Day - is that when I enter a store, any store, every store, I will no longer be aurally assaulted by woeful interpretations of generally woeful songs aka...

New Toy - Mk1 Cortina Wagon - drivetrain options?

Photos to follow... I will be picking up that sad pile from Mark C at the end of this month - the Mk1 Cortina Wagon which fell off the trailer and hurt itself and which Mark then cut and welded until it resembled a wagon once more. Needs a total going over, body will need to be scrubbed and rubbed p...

Notice that the nose badge says "Austin".
There was an blown up copy of a magazine
article about it in the bed.
Austin Minor - badge engineering at its best :D

The last time I used one of these was doing the trunnions on my '51 Prefect...a weekly requirement if I remember - (actually you OILED the trunnions but I just wanted to say 'trunnions' once more before I die). And those items which required greasing had NIPPLES - there, I said it out loud. NIPPLES :D

Yes, it was a great day - bit long on the speechy stuff at the end but not complaining.

I had my M100 in the sales corral but no sale so far, maybe my granddaughter standing on the seat put people off!

Amen to that.

Mind you, I never liked geometry at school, so I may be biased. :D

Thanks, James. I know how annoying this can be. It takes some work to keep a website clean. I follow other websites and occasionally check out other members on the list to see what part of the world they live in plus share similar interests. If one comes across a site where the last 250 members are...

Re: bogus member

Strange that this site tolerates one bogus member ( recent list +250 times ) to invade the registry with graffiti. As it stands no new legitimate members will join. Now it has been clarified somewhat ...while these things are a nuisance, why would that prevent others from joining? Serious question.

What should a port and polish cost with a head skim.
Try Richard Chong at RAC - Lotus specialist and doesn't do P&P but does know many in the business.
