Re: UK convertible Capri for sale.

That looks great, is it done by one of the specialists like Crayford?

Re: 13” tires

I found it to be quite difficult to find performance 13 inch tires in North America so I ended up buying mine out of the U.K. I think this firm might have changed hands in the meantime but this is it now, I ended up with these 5.5 x 13 wheels and 185 x 60 x 13 tires. I have yet to put them on my car...

Re: James - Could You Please Delete the Spam Messages?

There are at least two of these pathetic losers on our forum so far as I can see, time to flush the toilet. I have even been getting private messages from these mouth breathers, these two to be removed.  https://i82.servimg.com/u/f82/17/10/84/53/enfo_f10.png https://i82.servimg.com/u/f82/17/10/84/53...

Re: Mk2 Cortina Lower Control Arm ball joint rebuild

I can't recall for sure if the Mk2 is rebuildable but I suspect it might not be? I do know the cast 105e and 100e track arms are rebuildable though. I was looking at some of my photos, you can see the lighter colored track arms, those are after market Mk2 cast track arms that I bought out of Austral...

1978 Ford Escort RS2000 on BAT

This car looks not bad and it's left hand drive too. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1978-ford-escort-4/?utm_source=dm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2023-07-12 https://i82.servimg.com/u/f82/17/10/84/53/img_4010.jpg https://i82.servimg.com/u/f82/17/10/84/53/img_4011.jpg https://i82.servimg....

Re: 107e Rear Brake Drums.

Thank you for the replies but I think I have it sorted for now. The 107e brake shoes and back plates are the same as later 100e vehicles so that's not a problem to obtain them, the rear drums however are unique to the 107e but I now have a line on a set.

107e Rear Brake Drums.

I am on the lookout for two usable rear brake drums for a 107e Prefect, I have the whole rear axle but minus the drums.

Re: Is Everyone On Vacation?

L like that it exposes the curves on the bottom of the fender. It's a good look. Your choice of course. The body curves on the front of a 100e are pleasing to the eye as are many of the vehicles that were designed in that period, I feel that the factory artists of the day designed the body shape an...

Re: Is Everyone On Vacation?

Just noticed the shortened bumper. Very neat. The front bumper came with the car and it is interesting but I am not 100% sure that I will keep it that way?? I have a couple of sets of Lotus Cortina 1/4 bumpers so I might go that route, I also have a set of Bugeye Sprite bumpers that I might also us...

Re: Is Everyone On Vacation?

great picture are they both still stock engine/trans . The 100e Anglia on the left is very stock with its 3 speed transmission and flat head engine. The 107e Prefect on the right has been lowered and has 5.5 X 13 inch wheels installed, the engine is a 1600 GT crossflow with a semi-close ratio gearb...
