Wrecking Yard in AZ Going Out of Business
There's a wrecking yard SW of Phoenix,Arizona going out of business. The owner's selling off the cars for scrap prices. Some interesting cars. I saw (from the pictures) 3 Cortina MKII 2 doors,a 100E,& part of a MKII Consul next to the 100E. Go to this link: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?i...

Visiting the Seattle,Washington area
I'll be up in the Seattle area in about 1-1/2 weeks.
I'd like to meet with any other English Ford people.
I'll also have an empty truck ('94 Dodge Dakota),
in case I can help with moving parts, etc. on the way
up,or back.

Anyone see the James Taylor Special on PBS?
I was watching this,& even my Wife noticed when he
mentioned "Ford Cortina".
Seems that after going to England,he returned to the
US with a new '68 Cortina (an estate,if I remember right).
I love to hear stuff like that!

September,2009 - 105E's 50th
I just happen to notice that the 105E will turn 50 in
September 2009.
Is there any way we could have some kind of get-
- together next year? This is too big to pass up.
I'm hoping to get our '60 105E going (#126,316).

Cortina (sort of),in Automobile Magazine
If you go the the magazine's website,& look up the article by Rusty Blackwell about buying an MGB/GT in CA,& driving it to Michigan - - click on where it says "MORE PICTURES". Our Cortina is the last picture. Sorry to brag - but we don't get much press nowadays. - Doug
