I always had a feeling the 13 inch tires would be heading out, which is why my Mk3 has 16 inch rims/tires

As for the age, its illegal to have tires more than 6 years old (atleast in BC)

Well my green Mk3 has been off the road since (I believe) 1989 but shes been parked in Langley since then.
Hopefully It will be sporting its beautiful Evergreen Metallic soon enough and on the road

My Cortina Mk3 2000 will idle at about 800 rpm, choke off, fully warmed up, and it will be real lumpy. If I hit the brake, the idle will smooth out and the rpm will rise to about 1200 rpm. It does this when cold too with the choke off. I know the booster is functioning. Could it be a vacuum leak bet...

I started up my Mk3 Cortina to only to be told it was spitting rusty water out the tailpipe

Looks solid, but be sure to check the inner fenders around the strut mount, they are notorious for rotting

Sometimes spark plugs, even new ones, wont spark when its under compression. If you introduce fuel directly into the cumbustion chamber via the sparkplug hole and it wont even cough, it could bve that

I body worked and epoxy sealer primed the trunk, its kinda hard to see but one of the lines is mishapen from the filler, sticks out like a sore thumb to me!
