Aaron welcome. I believe the car next to the one in the pic above is an American Ford circa 55 or 56. The roofline is incredibly similar. I looked it Ford Customline. I once called an auction company because I saw the same profile in the background in their brochure.

You should buy the red MK2 in CA with the 302. Seems fairly priced and pretty much ready to go. A lot of car for the money.
