Steel wheel size on English Fords

What the biggest steel wheel size Ford put on English Fords at the factory in the 50s, 60s or 70s?

I am looking to buy 15" steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and get it banded for wide wheels to put on my LHD mk1 Escort for street sleeper look and retain classic style.

Any help appreciated
