all the gauges look great, your handy work makes it look like it belonged there from the beginning.
Your two level pick up in the gas tank is reminiscent of the pre '62 VW reserve gas lever handle I remember so well. (probably you too !!)

ahh thanks Brett, I noticed the tach...I never seen that before. At any rate, I am trying to figure out what to do about a speedo. I have a perfectly good speedo that measures the speed way off if connected to the T9 tranny and then the issue with custom cable....I know it can all be sorted out with...

That is how it seems to work...but when I first started messing with this thing, I thought it worked in the traditional fashion....pull out to first detent for park lights, second detent for headlights, the rotary motion I thought was for either dome light or dash lights but that did not make sense ...

this is for Brett, Didn't you post a pic of a GPS speedometer installed in the stock dash pod? I have been searching on both sites with no luck. Can you post a link?

headlight switch
hi all, I have a silly question I hate to even ask...for such a simple device, I am confused....how does the headlight switch work on the 100E? Does power go to post A? park lights to post S1? and headlights to S2? and to turn on the park lights, you rotate the knob clockwise? Then pull knob out for...

wiring harness routing
I am putting a universal wiring harness in the 300E...can anyone tell me the if the stock harness passes through the large hole in the side of the pedal/column brace? If for some reason the pedal/column brace needs to be removed, it would be impossible if the wiring passes through this hole. I will ...

cross reference parts
I thought I would share a couple of parts that seem to be a direct cross reference for the 100E. (57-62 ?) first - front brake shoes...I got these off of ebay and they are listed as "Nash Metropolitan Late Model Front Brake Shoe for cars E29283 and after". here is a pic of mine and the new...

thanks guys, I ordered the rear on ebay ...price was acceptable. Now for the front ...our local guy wants $25 per shoe to reline, another I found online wants $18 per shoe (+shipping) ...either way I am at about $100 for the front. A little more bearable with the ebay deal. I have the 105E axle with...

brake shoes
My 100E brake shoes are barely worn but they have been soaked in brake fluid, axle oil, and they are probably from the 60's. So I have been looking for new brake shoes or having these relined. Both of which is expensive. What have you guys been doing for brake shoes?

buying Express steel panels in USA
hi all, I am looking at buying a couple of parts from Expressed Steel again. My first purchase caught me off guard as I had to "wire" the money to their bank in England. They said the only way they do international sales is by money transfer directly to their bank. I never wired money befo...
