I am very pleased to introduce Jim Norman as the manager of the North American 107E/108E Prefect Registry. There is probably nobody on earth that knows more about these unique cars than Jim. Jim has been involved with the Sidevalve Ford Owners Club in UK for many years (I believe, wrote a book for them on 100E restoration). Jim has also has been with NAEFR (now known as EFONA) for longer than I have. Jim is also EFONA’s Technical Advisor for 100E/107E models.

For those not aware of the 107E (108E is the LHD version) Prefect, they were built for 1960 and 1961 and combined the 100E Prefect body with the 105E Anglia’s 997 Kent engine. I’m sure that Jim knows the exact number of known 108E survivors, but it is in the neighborhood of about six – world wide.

BTW – Jim’s daily driver is a 107E Prefect and has been for years.

Michael
