CZZ Registry Update
Patrick Wilson contacted me recently to report that he has been hard at work on updating the North American CZZ Registry as well as establishing a World-Wide Registry.
Patrick writes --
"I hope, with the co-operation of all the CZZ clubs, to start a master list of whats left worldwide. Am guessing that there are 300 to 400 Mk II CZZ's in the UK, and a similar number downunder. North America is a bit sparse at about 50 or 60 Mk I CZZ's. That leaves about 1,000 cars left
from a production run of 660,000 - Amazing!"
I am hoping that Patrick will update us here in the near future.

This Australian-based Consul, Zephyr & Zodiac website should be of interest to the hardcore CZZers among us.

If you want to what happened to Norm Scott's Zephyr Convertible, take a look at this video and fast forward to minute 22.

What the f***. That's the most depressing video. These idiots actually took apart a perfectly good Zephyr mk2 convertible to save a cartoon car.
I meet Norm Scott a few years ago where showed his pride and joy at the Hillsboro All Ford gathering. It was a rare sight to see a LHD MK2 conv. even more rare in that condition. Oh well, that's life. Pete

Here's ep#5 on the end result of Norm's Zephyr:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffb2ExZNyb0
You would need to completely watch ep#4 and ep#5 to get the full picture of what went on during the process of converting norm's Zephyr into a cartoon car. Pete

The 1968 Mk IV Zodiac once owned by Ian Lalande of Hastings, Ontario, is now parked on "death row" and will be crushed in July 2017 if a new owner doesn't come along and save it. Needless to say, it has deteriorated a lot since this article about this uniquely speced care was published in the E-Ford Lines in 2001.If you click on the image, you can veiw it in a larger size on Flickr.

Re: North American Consul, Zephyr, Zodiac (CZZ) Registry
Does anyone here know of a current registry for mkii owners here? I wasn't surprised that the email at the top post isn't active however I'd still like to be able to know of any other owners in Colorado; I know there is a facebook group in regards to that but I was hoping to avoid starting a facebook account. Thanks for any help!

I don't know of anything like that (anymore). For North AMerican based cars, this might be it.mk2Colorado wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 7:54 am Does anyone here know of a current registry for mkii owners here?
