Doug's Fiestas

Personal memories from the time when these cars were new (or at least not as old as they are now).

Doug's Fiestas

Post by IFHP »

Last time Doug Milota stopped by my house, he dropped of some old photos from the 1980's when he was deeply into Fiestas. Doug told me the stories behind the photos, but I don't remember much, so hopfully Doug will leave some comments here.

Micheal,

I forgot all about loaning you those.
The first one is at PIR (Portland,OR) in 1980,
The second one is at Sears Point at the PCRRC,
the 3rd one is at the Rose Cup races @PIR 1980,
when Mt.St Helens erupted (what do you do when-
- a volcano erupts?).
The 4th & 5th are our two Fiestas + one (White)
that I was working on.The last one is our 2 Fiestas -
- the Yellow one I bought in Portland,OR,the Blue one I
bought in LA (1700,twin Weber - nicest Fiesta I've seen),
& the Yellow one that I was driving & got hit in by a girl
driving 35+mph,& ran a stop light.

- Doug
Remember - Nobody EVER says "COOL PRIUS!"
