Hello, my name is Eric, I live in Vallejo Ca. I joined the forums as I am going to be looking for lots of help soon. Though I have been a firm Ford owner all my life from Falcons to Early Econolines to Early Bronco's I have never owned an English Ford. Until (maybe) very soon. I am looking at purchasing a 1959 101e Escort wagon from a friend in Sacramento. It is bone stock down to the rotted out window glass rubber seals. However the body is rust free and extremely straight. with the exception of the window rubber and the blown up 2nd gear it is in remarkable shape as it has been garaged for the past 15+ years. I hoping to find out about upgrades to the brakes and driveline to turn this into a fine runabout.
