Hey everybody

Post by duffro »

I just did a search and realized I hadn't introduced myself.
My name is Duff, I live in Oakland, Ca. I've owned a couple of Capris and last year I bought Doug's red Corsair GT. So far I have converted it to Capri front suspension with rack and pinion. I've built a 2.0 Pinto for it and I am sorting out which gearbox to use. Even though I'm in the middle of this project I am going to look at a Fiesta this weekend. I'm not just a Ford guy though. I also have a '50s home built sports car special, a rotary powered Sunbeam GT, and some old motorcycles.
Looking forward to learning from you all and sharing my projects.

Hi Duff and welcome to EnFoStuff.

I'm glad to hear that you have been able to make something out of Doug's former engineless Corsair GT. As I'm sure Doug has told you, he managed to salvage the car before it was sent to the crusher after donating it's engine. Please keep us posted on the project as it goes along.

Cheers,

Michael
