Hi from Australia ,this is my son Toms 52 Anglia ,it was in a shed for 25 years still registered ,he bought it a year ago got it running and has had so much fun with it ,the original engine has given up and he is gathering parts to build a new engine ,all the experts out here reckon he should repower it with a 2litre or a rotary ,that would be too easy ,engine will be Aquaplane equipped 10 hp ,he has the twin carbs and manifold ,exhaust manifold ,regound cam ,now saving for the new conrods ,adjustable cam followers ,valve springs etc.the pound is about 60cents against our oz dollar at the moment so now is the time ,he hoping to get it done by xmas ,i will do a few pics during the week of carbs etc. and post

Hi Roddyb,
That's a good looking winter project your son has there. It looks very solid and complete. I would keep it as original as possible. But in the US many late 40 early 50'S Anglias are made into hotrods with V8s and sub-frames under the front end.

Have Fun!
Cheers,
Bob
