Hi Guys, my name is Brett, I am an auto technician here in Vancouver that has worked for the same BMW Dealer since 1977. I am new to the forum but have been a NAEFR member for about 12 years. I am currently modding a 58 100e Anglia and trying to get my 58 stock Prefect back to roadworthiness. A number of you will know me from the 100e.com site and by looking at your members list I already know a few of you more local guys. My past EnFos have been a 105e Twincam, a 67Mk2 Lotus Cortina a Mk1 and Mk2 GT Cortina. It will be interesting to see what sort of EnFo activity goes on around here.

First pic is Prefect as it was, #2 is how it now is, #3 is my current 100e Anglia, #4 is my old 105e and Lotus Cortina and #5 is how my 105e finished its days back in 1978.

Welcome! Was that last one taken at Boundry Bay?
I attended an autocross there with the Lotus club (LCCBC)
in my Fiesta back in the '80's.

You have a good eye, that pic was taken at Boundry Bay in 1978 just after I barrel rolled it. I actually still sort of miss that car. Your comment Re the Fiesta tweaked my memory, I too drove a modded up Fiesta for 2 years as my daily. Although I am not yet a FWD convert that car went very well and was easy to drive. I am sure if I looked in my archives I could find a pic of that too.

Hi Brett,

It has been awhile. Nice to hear your news (and see your old photos).

Hi Michael, I think the last time I saw you was at the Vancouver ABFM a few years ago. I seem to recall that our conversation was centering around our both growing weary of the car scene with life's pressures, I guess we are still hanging on but sometimes it's work.

Welcome Brett!

I'm south of you on the Ferndale/Lynden border probably 45 min from Vancouver proper.

Hi Steve , thanks for the welcome. The last time we talked you were telling me about your wheel buying experience at the Vancouver ABFM. I still may have some questions for you yet as I would like this type of wheel for my Anglia. Just to make sure I have the correct Steve, this is your red Mk1 in the pic??

Hey you guys sorry for the lapse in posting. Yes that's my Mk1 GT needing only a nice paint job...but I've been saying that for long while. I'm debating whether or not to do it myself next year but I have to finish my vintage BMW motorcycle project first.
