I'm a Cortina owner!
Just wanted to introduce myself and mention that I'm BIG TIME glad I found this site!
I live in Central Virginia and just aquired 3 Cortinas in a "package deal" - a '66 Cortina GT, a '67 Cortina Wagon (no engine), and a '68 MKII Cortina GT (no engine). I've always wanted a MKI GT so I'll most likely get rid of the other 2.
Where is a good place to get parts? I come from the old BMW "world" so these are new to me.
Well, can't wait to spend some more time on this forum and if anybody wants a MKII GT or MKI Wagon let me know.

Welcome,
You could start here.

or here,

These are simple cars with good parts availability. I always get my bake parts from the UK. These guys manufacture all the parts and the quality and service is excellent. Ask for Paul

Congratulations.
You got a good deal on all those cars. That GT looks to be in pretty good condition. Parts are not too hard to come by. Engine and transmission parts are easy. Lots of vendors in the states and plenty more across the pond. Body parts are available over seas, but expensive to ship. Anything else can be sourced locally or adapted. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
