Hi all, great to find others with the same passion

Post by Bigdazza »

I live in Ontario Canada and I have a love for old fords.
I own a 1976 ford escort and it has been a long term project.
I also own a 1966 lotus cortina which I bought of the original owner it
is in pretty rough shape but totally complete( I might get to it one day)
I have a shed full of mk1 cortina GT parts.
Glad to be here to

Sounds like some interesting cars there, you should post some pics some time. That Lotus will certainly be worth doing up considering their value these days, I had an early Mk2 Locort that I now regret selling but that's hindsight.

The Tina looks like she's seen some action! Good luck with the rebuild.

thanks guys, if I can find a really nice mk1 two door shell I might tackle it,
I was looking in the trunk and as well as a selection of ciebie driving lights I found quite a few original Ford service manuals for the lotus cortina, turns out it was one of the last mk1 lotus cortinas sold in Canada, also it has a spare lotus head and water pump housing, cam, carbs etc,, a really cool finds
