Facebook Marketplace has a 1966 Anglia listed in Newark, DE for $2K. That's right down I-95 just a bit. :D

Working on cleaning up the engine and transmission. Hope to paint the engine bay this weekend.

Cleaned up the flywheel and took off some fat (4.5 lbs.!!!).

It's coming along.

Coming along

My guy Mike has really been working hard for me on my '61. Engine and transmission are in. Recently Mike used some fabrication magic and hung the exhaust.

wheels and tires

Decided on Rota wheels for the classic look and got some Toyo tires to wrap them. Image

Looking really good!

I like the notch in the body for the exhaust to clear
I got mine routed and it sits about half an inch off the body where it passes the gearbox, just enough to clear the speed bumps since I'm lowered about 2.5 inch in the front and 2 in the back

We felt the same way and wanted the exhaust to clear any possible hazards. We have nasty speed bumps and horrible potholes here and didn't want the exhaust hanging down too low. We are still working on ride height and fitment of the tires/wheels, we want the stance to be just right.

James,

I noticed that you fabricated a new trans mount includes the original mount. Are you fabricating a new tx crossmember as it seems the tx will move up to the tunnel ~2" by using the original crossmember.

The new mount is actually the same dimensions as the stock one. Image
