As you can see, I am mid way through transferring people’s introduction from General Discussion to Member Introductions. It’s kind of tedious, so it is taking me awhile. One unfortunate side effect is that it now looks like I (because of my avatar) posted all of these messages – which is of course not the case. Another side effect is that the threads are no longer linked to the original posting member (though this can be corrected of the original posting member adds a new comment to the thread).

Kind of awkward yes, but I am already thinking that the site looks, and operates, better because these posts are all together.
