Hi,
Thought I would introduce myself to this great site. My name is Paul and I have a 1959 Anglia 105E Deluxe which is probably the oldest 105E on the road. It is unrestored and to date has only done 31,000 miles from new. The 105E was introduced in the UK on 30th September 1959 and my car was registered on 7th October, just a week later. It has a very low chassis number and is in great condition. I have owned 4 other 105E's, a Mk2 Cortina, Mk2 Escort, 2 Mk2 Zodiacs and have driven countless other English Fords. But the Anglia is my favourite English Ford of all. I also own a 1959 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe so I have an examples of big and little fins! If I get a chance I'll put some pictures of the Anglia on the site.
Hello from England (Paul)

Paul,
Welcome to EnFoStuff. I would love to see a picture the earlist 105E still on the road. Parked next to your '59 Chevy Impala, you have the car that can fly (with a little magic) and the car that looks like it can fly.

Hi Paul, Welcome to the forum.
Your car makes my 1960 Anglia seem new, though my whopping 34,000 original miles seems pretty well used by comparison!

Thanks for the welcome. There are a couple of not very good pics in the gallery section, kindly placed there by James in Indiana. I have just been the Classic Car show in Birmingham England and the Anglia club here asked if I would put the car on display in 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Anglia 105E. Sounds good to me!
