It all started in late '79,when I bought a new Fiesta "S",& went SCCA
racing (Showroom Stock). Also ran many autocrosses & hillclimbs.
I've had about 15 Fiestas (none now). Then friends of the family gave
me our first Cortina (free! - '68 Deluxe,4speed).I've had a few of these,
now just a '67 2 door 1500GT.
We also have:1960 Anglia 105E (needs restoration),'64 Corsair 2dr
1500GT (for sale).
At one time I've had 13 cars around here, but now down to 8-9!
I know a little bit about these cars,& I'm willing to help anyone who needs it - if I can.

Welcome to the forum!

Makes me feel better about my 6 cars :-)

So apparently you consider Fiesta's disposable?

Doug has also been a NAEFR/EFONA member since the very begining. At one time Doug and I were the only North Americans known to own both a Mk III Cortina and a Corsair. But now that I've bought Doug's Mk III, we can't say that anymore.

No, I don't consider Fiestas diposible, just bought & sold them due
to circumstances at the time (some bad decisions made - for sure).
My "claim to fame" was that I was the only one in the US who had
a Cortina MKI,MKII,& MKIII at the same time!Unfortunatly,my neighbors
were not impressed.

The EFONA photo album has a number of vintage photos of Doug's Ford collection. Dougs said it would be okay if a posted a few here.

A rare P5 Taunus 17M wagon that Doug salvage near Eureka. In this photo he is getting ready to trailer it to a buyer in LA. The car was said to be full of boxes of NOS parts.

Doug's EnFo collection circa 1995.

At one point Doug was surely the only guy in North America with two Corsairs. Both cars have since been sold and sadly the white car has since been destroyed.

My book says that there were 72050 Taunus 17 M Turnier built from August 1964 till July 1967. The rare one would be the 20 M Turnier as there were only 22418 built.

That was actually a 20M wagon in the picture.
It also had one of the Europeon headlights.

All that I have left is the 105E & the TR6.
Way too much time (& money) for me to handle,
plus the neighbor's weren't impressed with my
collection.

Doug recently sent me some more pictures. The two pictures below were taken in the early 2000's and show Doug's Mk I, II, & III Cortina collection. Doug has since sold off all of these cars. I bought the Mk III, the Mk I went to Texas and the Mk II was sold locally.
